Bear Main Washout Update 4/2/2024
The washout is located 100 meters past the turn off to the main staging area.  Camping, staging and riding are available out of Aspen.  No access to Burke or Hidden Creek campgrounds at this time.

April 2025 Trail Update

You'll find snow at higher elevations and in shaded areas. Lower areas are clear with some muddy sections. There's still frost in the ground, please avoid wheel spin as it tears up the trails and then we have to go back and fix them.

+90% of the trail system will be open in 2025! There are some burned sections, please use extra caution and expect the unexpected in these areas!

***NO SPARK ARRESTOR / NO RIDE***

All rides, orange, red, yellow, blue, green, big, small, old, young, two wheels, 4 wheels, 2 stroke and 4 stroke will be checked before unloading. 
No joking don't show up without a spark arrestor!

Okanagan Trail Riders Association

Welcome to the website of the Okanagan Trail Riders Association, a group of motorcycle and ATV enthusiasts who are protecting your opportunity to ride in the Okanagan Valley. Efforts by club members have secured your access to riding areas that were disappearing.  The Bear Creek OHV riding area is now designated as a motorized recreation area which is recognized and administered by the Province of British Columbia.

The area encompasses over 85,000 acres of designated riding area and features  350 kms of planned trails for off road motorcycle and ATV’s.  The environmentally sustainable world class trail system is safe, easy to navigate, well maintained and enjoyable for all levels of riders from Peewee to Expert.

The Bear Creek Rec Site

The Bear Creek Rec Site area also offers 40+ dry campsites first come first serve $18/night.  The sites are traditional BC Rec campsites with fire rings and picnic tables.  Conveniently located within the trail system with ride in and ride out access.
